Tofu Story
Tofu, or Soy Paneer as it is called in India in Hindi or Bean Curd called widely in the far Eastern countries where it originated, is a popular Vegan diet delicacy now. It is made from soybeans. It is a tasteless & odourless processed Soybean food product that quickly adopts the taste of the medium when marinated. Still, this non-dairy cheese has acquired a place among the world population due to its nutritional, medicinal substitutive value.
It may help to lower the level of bad cholesterol (LDL). Research has shown that a high intake of legumes, including soy, is linked to lower rates of heart disease. It contains chemicals called phytoestrogens and isoflavones found in plant food. The products during their preparation are under complete sterilised supervision and condition. Bare hands are avoided in the course of production and prepared hygienically.
